Awesome temple of lord Shiv on NH-80 in Lakhisarai dist. The temple is well maintained and has certain mini temples of several other gods and goddesses in the premises. Worth visiting.

One of the biggest shivling. The shivling is syambhu means self incarnated. It's a nice and clean temple. You can also conduct various events like shaadi, mundan , movie shooting , photography shooting. It has neat and clean premises

The history of this place is many centuries old, though the structure standing now has been built recently only. The excavation here has surfaced many age old stone idols and structures which have been housed for demonstration in a museum. The priest said there was a Lotus above which the shiva Linga got established. This might be an indication of fight between Shaiva(followers of Shiva and mostly meat eaters) and Vaishnav(followers of Vishnu and the vegetarians who later practiced Buddhism principally) in which Shaiva came out victors and built the shiva temple above the lotus the sign of Vaishnava. The area is regarded a sacred place for Hindus, clean, big temples. Photography inside the main temple is prohibited. A religious place to visit if you are around Lakhisarai
